Camps range from areas such as: filmmaking, stop-motion animation, digital animation, motion graphics & after effects, video editing, photography, sfx make-up and more. All camps are specifically designed for each age range and implore hands-on education and project-based learning. All films & creative projects completed in ASoF camps will screen for the public as part of our annual Loud & Clear Youth Film Festival at Alamo Drafthouse in August 2019. All camps are a flat fee of $275 with no additional costs and include a free summer camp t-shirt for each camper registered.

GENERAL INFO

WHAT ARE THE SIZES OF OUR CAMPS?

We believe students should have a stronger teacher to student ratio.

  • KIDS CREATE camps are capped at a maximum of 25 students and all have a minimum ratio of 1:5 teachers-to-students.

  • MEDIA MAKERS camps vary in size (due to content creation/subjects) with the largest camp capping at 15 students; however, all have at least a 1:5 ratio of teachers-to-students.

DOES AUSTIN SCHOOL OF FILM PROVIDE CAMPERS LUNCH?

Austin School of Film will provide snacks and beverages throughout the day. Lunch is not provided and students are required to bring a sack lunch for lunch break. The last day of camp will be served as a screening party with catered food and beverages provided by ASoF! Enjoy some delicious grub & view their new films with all the camps. We prefer students do not bring glass. Students are welcome to bring their own favorite snacks and beverages if they wish!
