At Austin Cinemaker Space, our mission is simple: to provide a sustainable, efficient studio program that empowers people to create, produce, and thrive in the creative industries.

Austin has many creative workspaces, but most are either too costly, require long-term leases, or are set up for one-time productions, leaving a need for affordable, flexible spaces suited for ongoing creative and studio work.

Cinemaker’s membership is ideal for creative professionals, small businesses, nonprofits, and startups in film + media arts. We provide consistent access to studios, equipment, and resources, making it easier to grow and scale your work through an affordable studio membership program.

Does this sound like what you're looking for? Membership is will reopen on December 1, 2024 with limited spots available.

HOW IT WORKS

Cinemaker is a nonprofit program run in Austin that’s committed to creating affordable, sustainable, long-term solutions for arts production in Central Texas. We’re here for you because, as fellow artists, we understand the need for a space like this in our community.

Think of Cinemaker like a gym membership, but for artists—photographers, filmmakers, small arts organizations, dancers, and theatre companies—who need consistent access to studio & workspace for creation, production and rehearsals. We've reimagined the concept of “studio” and “creative workspace,” moving beyond traditional hourly rates and long leases so you can scale your work and grow in real time.

Cinemaker's studio access membership gives you flexible, on-demand access to studios, equipment, and resources without hourly rates or reservation fees. Simply pay monthly and use what you need, when you need it.
