With over 20 years of experience in youth education, our 2025 media camps are tailored for 6th-12th graders of all skill levels to explore film, animation, and other media arts.
These intimate camps, with 8-10 students limit each, offer a personalized and immersive experience, allowing participants to learn hands-on with experienced educators from the local Creative Industries using real production equipment.
This tech-art experience is best suited for youth who enjoy drawing, as using a Wacom tablet and stylus is most accessible for those with a passion for illustration.
animation camp
Bring your drawings to life! In this hands-on camp, students learn the fundamentals of digital animation — from character design to timing and movement.
They’ll practice these techniques to transform their ideas into animated stories, exploring the workflow of real animation studios. As a grand finale, students will compile a highlights reel of all their animations, complete with music or voiceover, showcasing their work created throughout the week.
No prior animation experience is needed, but basic computer skills are essential.
This immersive film experience is best suited for youth who enjoy storytelling and collaboration, as working in a film crew is most accessible for those who thrive in group settings.
i film camp
This award-winning camp has been running strong for over 20 years, guiding young filmmakers through the entire process — from writing and directing to shooting and editing — using the same pro gear featured in our adult courses. In film crews, students will create their own original short films from start to finish.
No experience needed — just curiosity and a love for storytelling. Perfect for youth ready to explore the magic of moviemaking in a fun, hands-on environment.
This music-meets-film experience is best suited for youth who enjoy collaboration, creative problem-solving, and working behind the scenes to bring bold visual ideas to life through storytelling and sound.
i music video camp
Lights, beats, action! In this dynamic camp, students team up with local musicians and filmmakers to produce an official music video from concept to final cut. Campers will brainstorm, build sets, shoot, and edit using professional gear — just like a real music video crew.
No experience needed. Perfect for youth who love music, visuals, and creative collaboration, and want to explore how storytelling comes alive through rhythm, style, and cinematic flair.
