Motion Media Arts Center is led by a team of working artists and media professionals based in Texas, all deeply invested in the creative communities we serve. The studios, the classes, the residencies, the showcases: every program is shaped by the people who actually make the work.

The Artist Access Program.
Artist Access is a learn and earn program, one of six free Artist Pathway programs at MMAC. Participants receive an education stipend and full access to the studios, equipment, and darkroom, alongside onsite job training in the technical workflows of a working nonprofit arts organization. Along the way they take part in research projects and mock production shoots.
Every term closes with a showcase of their own, curated by the participants with support from the MMAC creative team and backed by an exhibition budget. Terms run six months, with the option to renew for an additional three.

Education stipends are $2,000 per artist per term. Studio access is a year of Cinemaker membership each, valued at $265 a month.
