Motion Media Arts Center is led by a dedicated team of working artists and media professionals based in Texas, all deeply invested in the creative communities we serve. At the heart of our organization is the Austin School of Film, a community film school that brings accessible, high-quality education to aspiring and emerging artists across Central Texas.

Each year, Austin School of Film features a rotating roster of 15 to 20 instructors—experienced and actively practicing filmmakers, media artists, editors, documentarians, and multidisciplinary creatives. These educators not only bring deep industry knowledge to the classroom, but also serve as mentors who understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities of working in today’s media landscape. Their real-world expertise ensures our programs remain relevant, hands-on, and directly connected to the evolving world of film and media arts.
