Sips & Cinema: Mexican Horror (Interactive Virtual Screening)

FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC / 18+ ONLY / CURATED BY ANA ARMENGOD

In this installment of our ongoing “Sips & Cinema” virtual screening series, we’re centering our focus on a Mexican horror short case curated by Ana Armengod. Austin School of Film is no stranger to the wondrous world of Mexican horror films. In 2013, we curated a summer long celebration of Mexican horror curated by Sarah Cook. Ana Armengod (humanleather) is a Mexican filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in Braddock PA., born in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico.

This is a one-time exclusive virtual event to watch, connect, and sip a special treat with Mexican film artist & curator Ana Armengod! All participants will receive a mysterious black envelope by mail containing the recipe to concoct a scary & sweet sip to enjoy together during the live screening.

This event is free & open to the public— the suggested donation at check-out is $5, and directly supports the continuation of events such as this.

Ticket deadline: October 18 (Sunday) at 12pm CT
