We’re taking it back to the early 2000s and exploring one of the most epic bizarre-death-scene-filled-over-the-top film series like ever. The one, the only — FINAL DESTINATION. In this workshop, we’ll be focusing on recreating a classic SFX “impaling” with the use of practical effects (i.e makeup) and objects (i.e what you will “impale” yourself with). Whether you’re looking for a fun day to play & brush up your SFX makeup skills or taking your Halloween look to the next level as this may be your…..final destination. 

SFX practical effects & techniques covered include: impaling, application of objects, and “realistic” trauma.

Participants will apply & play through a project-based virtual assignment with all SFX makeup & tools via an FINAL DESTINATION SFX MEDIA BOX  delivered straight to your home! You’ll be able to chat in real-time, ask questions, and get access to tried & true methods and techniques.
