Support the Austin School of Film this Giving Tuesday

There's a day for in-store deals and a day for online shopping each year, but there's also a day for giving back that happens called Giving Tuesday. On this day, people around the globe are encouraged to support their favorite nonprofits by sharing information about them and giving financial donations. The Austin School of Film could not survive without the generous donations received every year. Donations are used to support the classes and workshops we hold, provide classes for free to our interns who work for us on a work-trade basis, and give scholarships to those who cannot afford media classes but have always had the dream to create.

Our donors help keep the lights on at a place where people feel safe and comfortable. We teach people from the beginning level of filmmaking, those who have never held a camera (that wasn't on a cellphone), and we help filmmakers who are already producing feature length films. It's exciting for us to watch people start here, learn here, and create here.
