Direct Animation is the direct application of materials directly onto film (celluloid) -- from painting, scratching, using markers, ink, plus a myriad of other experimental techniques. The result? Amazing abstract moving images and animations. 

Following a live intro/talk + lesson with Faiza, you will create hands-on covering a variety of techniques with a provided 16mm kit! From painting directly onto your film, clear leader, and pen & ink. The session will include an interactive chat (you can ask question in real-time) + virtual show & tell.
