Youth 16mm Celluloid Workshop · Taller Juvenil de Celuloide 16mm
ENGLISH
No screens, no software.
Each child gets a strip of clear 16mm motion picture film and a table full of ink, markers, sponges, and scratching tools.
Led by Faiza Kracheni (Executive Director & Govalle Elementary Alum) through guided prompts: a color you see from your window, the shape of your street, something you remember about this school. You paint it frame by frame!
Every hand-painted strip gets digitized into one moving motion picture living painting, made by all the kids of the day. It premieres the following weekend at Imagining Govalle: An All-Youth Exhibition at The Canopy (right next door), November 21 and 22.
