A feature film shooting in Austin in July is looking for art department interns to work weekdays between June 18th and July 27th.

Art departments interns will work directly with the following department heads: Production Designer, Art Director, Set Decorator, and Prop Master who have worked on award-winning films such as NEVER GOIN' BACK, AIN'T THEM BODIES SAINTS, THE TREE OF LIFE, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN.

Interns will have the opportunity to develop their ability to work creatively in a collaborative environment while gaining first-hand experience with the inner workings of the Art Department. They will assist in research, building, and decorating sets and props for a period-piece.

Interns must be willing to work with their hands, move set dressing, use hand tools, paint, and generally get dirty turning ideas into tangible items.

Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and other graphic design skills are a plus but not mandatory.

This is an unpaid internship but may be given course credit. A schedule will be built according to your availability.
