ANALOG PHOTO EXHIBITION: Austin: A Lens Through Time (FREE)

  • Motion Media Arts Center 916 Springdale Road, Building 4, Studio 110 Austin, TX, 78702 United States (map)

Join us for Austin: A Lens Through Time, a unique analog photography exhibition that captures the city through a tactile, analog perspective.

The event is presented in partnership with CINEMAKER and supported by the City of Austin’s Cultural Arts Division.

This one-day exhibition showcases striking black-and-white photographs taken during a free analog photography workshop hosted by Rude Boy Pictures. The featured work highlights Austin’s iconic landmarks and cultural spaces threatened by gentrification, offering an intimate look at the people and places of East Austin through the eyes of each participant.

The hands-on workshop provided the public with the opportunity to engage in the same photographic process used since the art form’s inception—entirely analog and tactile.

More than just an art exhibition, this event is a tribute to Austin’s rich history and culture. Come connect with the local community and celebrate the creativity that keeps Austin’s spirit alive!

This event is free & open to the public.
