In 2017, three women quietly came together and started what would be Transform Film Fest 2018. It was super easy to organize, we had unlimited funding, very pleasant internet interactions with total strangers, and we did so with no trolls proclaiming “a women’s film festival is dumb” . Twas a wonderful joy, the end… SAID NO ONE EVER. Learn more about why we started this fest & who we are!

〰️ A NOTE FROM TRANSFORM FILM FEST 〰️
Y'ALL: This festival is not only a direct response to the need & passion to highlight films created by women of vast cultural and economic backgrounds but also raise awareness to the public of the underrepresentation of women within creative sectors. This is a chance for #TEXAS to change the creative culture to be more inclusive to women. Providing more options for women and girls to be involved in film education, productions, and resources while being surrounded by inspiring women in the Texas industry.
