The 30 min documentary, MY CHILD IS GAY AND I AM HAPPY, is a series of interviews with some remarkable parents, whose children represent the LGBTQ community. It shows their journey, from being unsuspecting and often accepting, to being the caring, supportive parents they are today. In each case, the parent and the child are a source of great inspiration to the community.

The film is an important documentary which gives the viewer, a peak into the lives of the LGBTQ community in the conservative society of India, where homosexuality was only recently decriminalized by the Supreme Court in a historic ruling.

WE WILL HAVE A MIXER FOLLOWED BY THE SHORT FILM & A DISCUSSION WITH THE FILMMAKER.
