Are you ready to spice up your weekend plans? Look no further! This weekend, we’re hosting not one, but two incredible indie markets that promise a delightful blend of creativity, community, and conscious consumerism.

As Austin Studio Tour enters its final weekend, Austin Cinemaker Space is gearing up to conclude with a bang. If you missed the last weekend's festivities – we had an incredible turnout, with over a hundred people streaming through our doors in the first 30 minutes of opening. Our free exhibition and screening showcased the work of more than 20 talented artists in film and visual arts, leaving attendees hungry for more. And guess what? We're not done yet!

In collaboration with local artists and curators, we're back this weekend with not one, but two spectacular events that you won't want to miss.

Why settle for a typical weekend when you can immerse yourself in the vibrant and diverse indie markets of Austin? Mark your calendar, gather your friends and family, and let's make this weekend one for the books!

Paper Dragon Small Press Fair

Date: Saturday, November 18

Time: 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Paper Dragon Small Press Fair is a seasonal marketplace dedicated to independent literary creators. Step into a world of zine-making, independent journalism, comic art, and photography from our vibrant local artists. It's a unique opportunity to explore, find inspiration, and support your local DIY scene.

And the best part? It's an all-ages event, free and open to the public – no RSVP required! Indulge in non-alcoholic drinks and snacks available for purchase on-site as you immerse yourself in the creative energy.

ART FUND Pop-Up Market

Date: Sunday, November 19

Time: 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Just in time for the holiday season, join the Austin Cinemaker Space and Art Fund for a pop-up market featuring local vendors and a commitment to sustainable shopping. Discover brands like Prior Waste, dedicated to reworking unwanted and damaged clothes, alongside vintage/thrift treasures and the delectable offerings of the Palestinian-owned Peace Bakery.

What makes this market even more special? All vendors are pledging a portion of their proceeds to the Wind River Tribal Buffalo Institute. This indigenous-led organization focuses on buying back ancestral lands and restoring buffalo populations, aligning with the mission of Art Fund to do good and support local initiatives.

It's a fantastic opportunity to shop consciously, support local businesses, and contribute to a meaningful cause!
