CASTING CALL For Short Film "The Rink"

Project Description:

The Rink is a sci-fi/horror short with a love story at its center with dark comedic moments.  Mae and Lo work through some things at a roller rink.  These things escalate quickly.  

Roles:

Dolores “Lo” - 20s/30s - a charming and sometimes intense/scary Latina tomboy.

Mae - 20s/30s - any ethnicity - playful hipster who’s dating Lo, loves busting Lo’s chops.

Tess - 20s/30s - any ethnicity - striking and damn good at roller skating (must be able to roller skate well).

Ralph - 40s/50s/60s - any ethnicity - cranky Carhartt wearing owner of the roller rink.

Featured Background - 20s/30s/40s/50s/60s - any ethnicity - any gender - any body type  - interesting and potentially scary people to play members of the group who have taken over the roller rink. We are also in need of some police officers.
