Thank you for reading this post; behind it, there’s a team that brings the same passion to our work as I am sure you do.

First, some context -- As part of the Director’s initiative to prepare our agency, the Austin/Travis County Health Department (A/TCHHSD), to respond to any natural disaster, pandemic influenza, or man-made biological threat, the agency is conducting an exercise to practice distributing medication to the community.

In order to maximize the training value of the exercise, we are keen to have it filmed so it can be reviewed and assessed by our preparedness staff. I am hoping that if there are students in need of a project to film or produce, that they might be able to help us by documenting our experience. I would be available to support these students in whatever capacity necessary to ensure this is a valuable learning opportunity for them, as well as our staff.
