Million Dollar Comeback is a weekly YouTube series with the goal of helping people reinvent themselves and make their comeback.


Entrepreneur Mike Black has basically given up everything and has 12 months to build a new business and make $1 million.

This entire project is documented with daily posts on social media and a weekly YouTube video where Mike share’s everything he knows about building a business as well as all the mistakes and learnings along the way with the hopes of inspiring those that are currently going through tough times.

This isn’t your average 9-5 job. It’s fast-paced, fun, and unique and the individual in this role has a real opportunity for personal and professional growth to lead this part of the project over the next year.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

On day one you'll play a big part in editing videos for YouTube week to week and you'll play a key role in our production and editing process for all of our videos.

We're looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, understands our mission, and can capture the storytelling side of this series as well as work well with a team of videographers to translate the vision to mass audiences.

You should have strong creative and technical skills in editing proficiently and storytelling. Production experience is a +.

We’re looking for someone we can rely heavily on to hit deadlines, produce great content, execute at a high level, and can help put together weekly videos 12-20 minutes long.

**MUST BE LOCATED IN AUSTIN, TX**

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Edit | You’ll be responsible for all things editing from receiving content from the video team and at times being on set to finish the projects weekly. Here is an example of videos we have currently produced: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-OMB7Hc2us&t=567s

Communicate | Work directly with our Creative director, video team, and our head of content marketing to provide creative input on strategy.

Collaborate | It’s important that you not only provide insight on editing videos but that you are also open to suggestions and easy to work with.

A day in the life would include: Coordinating with the video team for the day’s shoot, editing video, and working with the team on producing the weekly video. Some shoots might have to be later in the day while others might be earlier. You’ll also be responsible for helping with editing, strategy, and storytelling of any marketing videos.
