Project Description:
Matt’s lack of success and perceived failures in life lead him to a new job at a struggling escape room. With the impending demise of their beloved escape room, the ragtag group of misfits and Matt, must hatch a plan to save the business and maybe even redeem his broken past.

Character Breakdowns:

Matt, 32 (56/69 scenes)
Matt is a good guy.  He just lacks validation proving it to himself.  While some might consider him so, he’s not classically handsome. Somewhat disheveled, his hair could use a trim and clothes could use a wash.  He’s too old to be working at an escape room but times have been tough and he’s going to give it his best go anyway.

Brandon, 23 (37/69 scenes)
Good looking, quintessential nice guy who you can depend on.  Excellent sense of humor and has borderline autistic tendencies.  If he starts telling you a story and is interrupted, no amount of time or space will stop him from immediately resuming the story the next time he sees you.

George, 26 (35/69 scenes)
Very tall , lanky man with a hunched posture. Long black hair and fair skin.  George claims to have sold his soul at a young age for rock and roll.  There is never a moment when he does not have his cell phone in hand.  Never.

Harmony, 22 (34/69 scenes)
The office sweetheart.  A bright ray of light who loves helping people and being nice.  She’s got her own demons (compulsive cleaning for one) but nothing too upsetting.  You have the feeling she’s got your back.

Nick, 22 (29/69 scenes)
Crochetty young man with a distrust of just about everything.  He’s a super sweet, sensitive guy who can at times empathize too much, which makes him seem angry...but really he just really, really cares.  Nick wishes to do good in the world.

Jacob, 23 (27/69 scenes)
Always positive with lots of energy guy and way too many dad jokes.  There is no stopping the energy behind this powerhouse.  Jacob lives in his own world of laughter and fun and is the ultimate gamer.  Word on the street is he can beat you in chess in under 1 minute.

Nailah, 23 (26/69 scenes)
A unique beauty with a strong sense of purpose for love, life, and unity.  When you meet Nailah you feel an instant connection with the universe.  With an almost offensive amount of disregard for personal space, Nailah has the welcoming calm energy of a wise monk.

Teressa, 28 (25/69 scenes)
Tattooed, pierced, and fierce. Basically a badass with great tits.  At least that’s how she’d put it.  Deep down she cares deeply about this family she’s discovered at the escape room.  God help you if you cross any of them, especially the ladies.

Terry, 46 (21/69 scenes)
A laid back dude with a good heart who’s fallen on hard times.  The father figure, owner and creator of the escape room.  Artistic and emotional with horrible organizational skills. The kind of guy you’d agree to help move, even if there wasn’t the promise of beer or pizza after...but of course, he’d have plenty of both.

Riley, 26 (14/69 scenes)
Somewhat edgy in presentation, but totally bright and quick-witted.  Laidback and chill, Riley is the type of girl who thrives on mystique and humor.  While she can be a tough nut to crack, her overall modus operandi is to help others and to be kind.

Karen, 43 (7/69 scenes)
Beautiful, confident, strong-willed, free spirit. She has kind eyes, a sweet smile, and a stern disposition.  With her type A personality, Karen makes a good yin to Terry’s yang...if only.

Victoria, 40 (7/69 scenes)
Victoria is a struggling journalist who is not one to back down.  She might be able to change the world with her writing if only given the chance.

Tyler, 24 (3/69 scenes)
Testosterone on two feet.  He claims his two main purposes in life are his muscles and his truck.  Touch either without permission and we’ll have problems.  Really though, Tyler is misunderstood and looking to be noticed.  By anyone.

Victoria’s editor, 50 (1/69 scenes)
Take no shit editor who cares less about you than the news.  You can bet she finishes each night with 3 or 4 fingers of top-shelf whiskey.
