Project Description:

A short film, approx. 5 minutes. Intended for festival. Covid masks required. No compensation, might need to invest your own resources. Tagline: When Darius seeks a new answer to an old question, he is provided with a path to find it. But will he choose it? Logline: When Darius seeks to commit suicide by mixing beer and pain pills, he is thwarted by his quest by Tyre, who wants him to live not only a life, but a life abundant.

Character Breakdown:

DARIUS--a high school football lead quarterback who is made paraplegic in a football accident, ruining all his life dreams.
TYRE--high school friend of Darius and former girlfriend of Belshazzar who employs all her faith in God in order to help Darius overcome.
BELSHAZZAR--a shortsighted best friend of Darius who gloats about his own good fortune while Darius is in self-pity and pain.
