Austin Film Meet Short Script Table Reading

Join Austin Film Meet for a table reading and group review of feature and short film scripts. While hearing scripts out loud writers can get a better understanding of the story they created. It’s also an opportunity to hear real people say the dialog to show if it doesn’t sound right, and get suggestions to make it sound better!

Alt Girl Cinema: ANA MENDIETA: FUEGO DE TIERRA

Alt Girl Cinema is an alternative pop-up film series programmed by the Women's Community Center of Central Texas. This month WCC will be screening a documentary about Cuban artist Ana Mendieta who’s own filmed records of her earthwork art and performances are incorporated in the film to render a vivid testament to her energy and extraordinary talent after her tragic, untimely death in 1985.

The AFS Grant is accepting submissions through June 2, 2016. In addition to the cash grants from the AFS Grant fund, this year's grant partners are offering applicants a range of budget-relieving services and cash for every phase of production.
