OPEN TO 8TH – 12TH GRADERS ONLY

St. Andrew's presents an exciting new summer camp in partnership with the Austin School of Film! For two decades arts non-profit Austin School of Film has hosted over 20,000 youth students through our award-winning summer camps and youth programs. This summer, ASoF is bringing the fun to St. Andrew's!
Austin School of Film's award-winning Digital Filmmaking camp explores and experience every aspect of filmmaking. Students will work in crew-format collaborating and sharing ideas to create their own 5 minute short film. Students will learn hands-on with exercises in composition, camera movement, storyboarding, image, sound development and editing instruction with Final Cut Pro X. From idea to screenwriting, planning, production and post - students will experience every step needed to create a real short film using real professional equipment and industry standard platforms.
All films will be screened for the public at the Alamo Drafthouse (Mueller) as part of ASoF's annual Loud & Clear Youth Film Festival in August of 2018 (date TBA).
