SPRING MAKE CAMPS
What better way to spend Spring Break than making films and friends?
• OPEN TO AGES 7–12 YEARS OLD • ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME! •
During AISD spring break 2020, Austin School of Film will transform our campus into a media-makers youth lab to provide children an empowering platform to learn, work, create, and connect with fellow youth cinema lovers and creators. Over the course of spring break week, youth will work together to share ideas, learn media-making skills, and create their own short films and animations. Our curriculum for our spring break film camp is formulated for ages 7-12 years old and includes hands-on project based learning.
Each day of camp, students will break for lunch in our makerspace from 12pm - 1pm. We’ll have games, pop-up movie cinema, healthy snacks, and drinks on deck throughout the week provided. On the last day of camp (March 20), Austin School of Film will host a spring break bash with friends & family welcome to attend. This will serve as the world premiere of their films as well as a party with food, drinks, and photobooth with a fun spring-break-theme!
All campers will leave Austin School of Film’s SPRING MAKE Camp with an exclusive tee, digital copies of their animations, and new media skills!
