motion media arts center’s

Motion Media Arts Center is a 501c(3) non-profit independent film, art, and technology center that supports every aspect of production from creation to presentation. Our goal is to empower, support, and educate emerging artists of all ages to be active participants in shaping our culture and engage communities to rethink the way we view film, art and technology.

We provide alternative ways to work, learn, create, and consume the arts in the digital era. We do this through our programs: Austin School of Film providing over 500+ classes year round in art, film and creative technology and Austin Cinemaker Space - Austin's only non-profit low-cost coworking makerspace & multi-media venue for artists + creatives. For nearly 20 years, our non-profit has provided #Texas with low-cost (much needed) options in education, learning, creative space, resources, and tools within film, art, and creative technology.

Our uniquely curated guide to Austin directly reflects the demographic of amazing creatives & artists we serve. It features both a digital and printed experience for the hundreds of visiting and new-to-Austin people our organization see annually.

This guide acts as a partnership between our non-profit organization and local businesses that wish to support the creative community in Austin while also receiving cooperative marketing opportunities at the same time.

MMAC’s visitor guide is presented & delivered in two effective ways: DIGITALLY & PRINTED.
