SUMMER CAMP: Digital Filmmaking (ages 13-16)

275.00

Austin School of Film's award-winning Digital Filmmaking camp explores every aspect of filmmaking.

Campers will work together sharing ideas to create their own 5 minute short film with hands-on exercises in composition, camera movement, storyboarding, image, sound development and editing on a professional platform such as Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere Pro. From idea to screenwriting, planning, production and post - campers will experience every step needed to create a real short film taking on crew roles such as: Gaffer (lighting), Boom Operator (sound), Editor, Camera, Producer, and Director while using real professional equipment and industry standard platforms. All campers will leave with a copy of their short films, easily shareable for family and friends!

All films & creative projects completed in ASoF camps will screen for the public as part of our annual Loud & Clear Youth Film Festival at Alamo Drafthouse in August 2019. All camps are a flat fee of $275 with no additional costs and include a free summer camp t-shirt for each camper registered.
