SUMMER CAMP: Creative Animation (ages 11-12)

SUMMER CAMP: Creative Animation (ages 11-12)

Cartoons just aren't for watching anymore - we teach you how to create them! From your favorite characters to your own magical creations!

In this camp, students will create their own animated worlds using a variety of techniques within stop-motion claymation, traditional paper animation and 2D digital animation. Campers will use professional software + tools such as: wacom tablets, Hue and DSLR cameras, light boards, paint and creative software such as Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Animate.

Campers will gain a fundamental understanding and instruction of the creative software and digital tools used to create professional animations while hands-on learning while creating! All campers will leave camp with a reel of their animations, easily shareable for family and friends!

All films & creative projects completed in ASoF camps will screen for the public as part of our annual Loud & Clear Youth Film Festival at Alamo Drafthouse in August 2019. All camps are a flat fee of $275 with no additional costs and include a free summer camp t-shirt for each camper registered.
