In this course, students work with the advanced tools and features.  Students will enhance their ability to create accurate masks and image effects to retouch images, work with various classroom files, and to automate repetitive tasks.  Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to use the various tools to mask and clip layers to edit an image, create and vector paths, use the tools to enhance an image, and create special effects.

INSTRUCTOR: Virginia Brodie has been in the graphic arts since graduating from Ferris State University with a degrees in Printing and Education. She has been an Adobe Certified trainer for the last 15 years and has regularly placed in the top 5 highest rated Adobe trainers in the world. She loves taking pictures and expresses herself artistically through compositing images using Photoshop as her medium.

Who Should AttendThis class is intended for people who are already familiar with the basics of Photoshop and are looking to learn more in depth tools and actions.

NOTE: All software training classes take place in MMAC's iMac computer lab. All software courses are taught on iMac computers. Mac experience is strongly suggested but not required.

PrerequisitesAdobe Photoshop: Intro or basic-to-intermediate knowledge of Photoshop acquired by other means.

This course and all ASoF courses are certified with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to provide Continue Professional Educational (CPE) credits.
