FemBeat is almost five years old! Thank you all for cheering us on throughout our growth, showing up for us and our film screenings year after year. Our art has been completely funded through volunteer hours, to which we are incredibly grateful. We've decided we are ready to seek funding, and pay all creatives involved in our process what they deserve. Please join us at the Motion Media Arts Center to celebrate FemBeat's first fundraiser with a raffle, craft market, music, and Q&A with directors Samantha Skinner and Kayla Abuda Galang.

Felice Trirogoff — known in the rink as Me Shove You Long Time — went from being one of the few Filipino kids in her childhood suburb to skating as captain of Team Philippines in the Roller Derby World Cup.
