Final Cut Pro X: Beginner
Justine Spinoza - Don Hawkins
This hands-on course is designed for beginners who have little to no experience using Final Cut Pro X and/or editing film and video. This course covers basic non-linear editing techniques with Final Cut Pro X software through demonstrations, hands-on instruction; and footage provided by Austin School of Film. Students will learn how to work the Final Cut Pro X interface to cut, add and rearrange media, organize their browser, apply transitions, audio editing and creation, placing graphics and titling.
Who Should Attend: Whether you are an editor transitioning from other editing platforms like Avid, Sony Vegas, iMovie and Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro 7 to Final Cut Pro X or you are just getting your feet wet; this workshop will provide a good introduction to the skills needed to edit effectively. Digital Video Certificate students may take this course in replacement of the Apple Certified Final Cut Pro 101.

Prerequisites: None necessary. Beginners welcome.
