This class is designed for existing Adobe Premiere Pro users who want to increase their skill level through advanced features and workflows. The course is designed for those who prefer hands-on and interactive instruction to best explore the advanced functionality of Adobe Premiere Pro. This 12 hour course provides extensive must-know professional knowledge and will cover such topics as advanced skills in Lumetri Color Panel, Dynamic Link to After Effects, Dynamic Link to Adobe Audition (audio editing program), Project Archive: Delving into the Project Manager, Export Project: In depth look at Media Encoder, Master Clips, Mapping Keyboard Shortcuts, multi-camera projects & more.

Adobe Premiere is an ideal alternative to other editing suites. Save hours by eliminating the need for transcoding footage, seamless integration with other industry standard Adobe programs like Photoshop and After Effects, as well as a sophisticated but familiar interface.

Adobe Premiere is available for both Mac and PC, providing a cost efficient option for building out your editing suite. Learn the workflows to start editing efficiently and professionally.

All supplies included including iMac workstation and software for the duration of the course.

Who Should Attend: Whether you are an experienced editor transitioning from other editing platforms like Avid, Sony Vegas, iMovie and Final Cut Pro or you are interested in expanding your skillset to advanced editing knowledge and techniques; this class will provide advanced knowledge and skills needed to edit effectively. Digital Video Certificate students may take this course in replacement of the Final Cut Pro Advanced class.

ASoF Certificate: ASoF Digital Video Certificate core class.

Prerequisites: Intro to Adobe Premiere Pro or similar skillset.

About the instructor: 

Gary Gibich is a graduate of the University of Texas Film School and an instructor of Adobe After Effects CC (Creative Cloud) and Adobe Premiere Pro CC courses at the Austin School of Film. Gary has worked professionally in Film and Broadcast Television. He has also written a book based on a true WWII story entitled Patton’s Lost Platoon, which was an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Quarterfinalist in 2010. Gary continues to write novels, scripts and short form projects, and remains actively engaged in production and post-production.
