This 8-week course will teach you the basics of screenwriting; formatting a screenplay, character development, three act plot structure, pacing and the revision process through table reading. Learn how to write a screenplay and all of the ins and outs of the process, including best practices and important conventions. This course will cover the conventions of sac genre for both film and television. Upon completion of the course each student will have finished their very own short screenplay.
Who Should Attend: People who want to learn everything there is to know about how to write a good script, and those working towards their ASoF Digital Video Certificate.

Prerequisites: None. All levels welcome. This class is designed for beginner to interimediate levels.
About the Instructor:
Edward Santiago is an award winning screenwriter of the 2015 Shriekfest Independent Horror Film Festival and also a Finalist for the 2014 Shriekfest and the 2015 Oaxaca Film Festival. Edward holds a Bachelor of Science in Radio-TV Communications from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University.
