"Experimental Media Mini Workshop Series"

Austin School of Film presents a series of mini workshops in animation, film and mixed media that allow interested students in all levels of experience to create creative and fun experimental works.

We believe developing new skills in media arts should be accessible to each and every person in our community at an affordable cost. Each workshop is $50 per student and open to ages 16 and up.

Would you like to make your drawings come to life?  In this workshop participants will delve into the world of hand-drawn animation. We will use Flash 2D animation software to create a variety of simple animations. What is Flash? It's a software program that allows you to create a sophisticated version of the flip-books you made as a kid (and much more). We will begin with a smorgasbord of animation activities, followed by open time to play and experiment. No previous animation experience required. Please bring a USB drive or blank DVD to take your work home with you. Limited to 8 students.

Supplies: All supplies included.
